LePou HyBrit
Our members also voted as LePou as the best free plugins for amp sims: It was hard to get a bad tone out of Amplifikation Lite. It's okay given that it is for free, the eq does very little lepok the overdrive works very well. Those ones will sound infinitely better than the dog turd that is the Hybrit.

I've compared the sound of both the bit and bit versions of this amp, and they are not the same. Bottom line, I am giving this amp sim a solid thumbs down.
Legion by itself can providegreat tones for a complete high gain recording. The onboard cabinet IR's were hyrbit than adequate for those sounds but it also comes with an impulse loader. Don't waste your time on it if you're playing metal.
Again, this would pair nicely with the LE or Lecto for a balanced sound in a high gain mix. If I had to pick one of these amp sims to complete an album length recording with, it would be TSE X No post processing has been used on the guitars.

I have a BV Marshall cab. NRR1 had a great clean channel with warm low end.
As for SoloC, HyBrit comes in 3 versions: Sounds damn cool with proper IRs and leplu. LePou LE is a dark but focused sounding preamp sim that ranks as one of my favorites.
Re then refurbished L6-S, are you sure this was a budget guitar? I had this one purple covered metalface for a while and lemmee tell ya, WHOA that thing was isnanely loud at 1 and had the brightest, hardest sounding clean tone even bridged. There are 2 channels with 2 modes per channel. I haven't made a side-by-side comparisnos nor have I had enough first-hand experience with Marshall amps to say it's exactly like the real deal.
Amplifikation Lite works splendidly by itself or in tandem with another amp for high gain hubrit. Perhaps a bass cabinet IR might be what you need in tandem with a 1x10 IR. In writing, this sounded like a great idea - that way it could emulate the tones I'm going for in my own compositions. Much of what I wrote in this article is highly subjective based on taste and our respective gybrit, but the idea is to introduce cost effective alternatives to getting a great guitar tone. For soft rock and punk, it might get the job done, but for metal, I personally found the Hybrit extremely underwhelming. It sits well in a mix without post processing and dials in several quality high gain sounds across the EQ spectrum.
Billy Corgan uses a lot of gear and custom modded amps to get several tones. LePou create piece of art really. By itself, the SoloC would be great for an alternative rock style mix or dialed back for blues tones. As a home recording guitarist, I have always tried my best to explore different options for lepoou metal guitar. It has 2 channels leppu 3 modes per channel and a resonance knob that effects the relationship with the speaker cabinet.
